1. My Devotion 3.5
2. JanSport Backpack =3
3. Do things =3
4. Drowned 2.5
Not especially enamoured with the singles so far, but I felt that about TGICIHL singles too, and that ended up in my top 6 sparks albums, so hoping there will also be some great, more envelope-pushing non-single tracks on the new album too. |

It's funny how we all love Sparks in such different ways. Brightonian and I seem to have more similar opinions, but I would never think that anyone here is anything less than a dotingly devoted Sparks fan. Not that anyone was casting any aspersions.
I am with Buckeye Randy on the "stop dropping album tracks one by one" topic. One song, maybe two, that's all right, but I want to hear the album as a piece, not as a group of disparate songs. _________________ better drop the requirement that everything be great |

I agree miss sparks....l listened a few times at the very beginning but have put them on ice since....l dont even want to read any reviews yet although l see one in the latest edition of Mojo but l'm going into hibernation now until l have the album in my hands....and l will play it probably 2 or 3 times in a row straight through.......then l will try to be objective in my appreciation. (Objectivity?? That'll be a challenge...😄) |
